Maison d'hôtes "La Bihorée" - Chemin de la Bihorée 14100 Saint-Jean de Livet +33 (0) 7 81 55 90 44

Home

In Normandy, in a peaceful environment with a lovely view of  the Touques valley, La Bihorée is an outstanding guest house built in the 16th century with handcrafted stone and half-timbering.

Marie-Jeanne Ronchetti-Simonet has transformed the ground floor of an old restored ciderpress into 2 guest bedrooms, for a relaxing stay in the heart of the beautiful countryside near the sea in the “Pays d’Auge”.

A stone stairway brings you to the CIEL (“Sky”) bedroom for 2 people: living room and sleeping space with a 160*200cm sized bed, shower and separate water closet.

This room can communicate with another room for children:  ETOILES (“Stars”) has 2 beds ( one 90*200cm and one 120*200)

The 2 rooms are decorated with restored antique furniture, original lighting fixtures and comfortable cushions.

Every detail is planned to recreate an authentic environment.

Facing directly south, the rooms look onto the garden with gnarled trees, lush green grass and flowers on one hectare.  Relaxing garden furniture is available.

Breakfast is served outside in the garden or on the veranda. You can enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley and test the delicious produce of the countryside, bread, jam, honey and home-made cakes.

The region is well-known for its culinary tradition and for its quality products from the local market or from small producers.

Feel like eating a good egg? Our hens will be happy to oblige!
